Andrew Sund

Chairman

Andrew Sund is a Florida native and works in digital advertising. Involved in politics from an early age, he has worked on local, state, and federal elections. In addition to serving on the CLC board he also serves on numerous local advisory boards for the school board and county. When Andrew is not working the campaign trail he enjoys umpiring youth baseball and exercising his second amendment rights.

Doris Cortese

Vice Chair

Doris Cortese, a 14 year Cape Coral resident, is proud to be serving as vice chair of the CLC! Doris was married to the late Wally for 68 years and is a mother to 5, grandmother of 10, and great-grandmothers of 3. In addition to her role here with the CLC, she currently serves as President of the Lee County Trump club. She formerly served as President of the Lee Republican Women Federated club and vice chair of the Lee County Executive Republican committee.

Judy Persons

Treasurer

Judy Persons, a fourth-generation native of Lee County, has dedicated her life to championing conservative values. Judy is married to Armor Persons, who serves as the Chair of the Lee County School Board. She is also the proud mother of Florida Representative Jenna Persons-Mulicka. Through her dedication to her family, community, and political principles, Judy continues to be an advocate for the CLC the rich heritage of Lee County.

Jake Cataldo

Secretary

Jake Cataldo is a transplant to Southwest Florida from New York’s Hudson Valley. Before moving, he worked in real estate. He also served as NY-18 field organizer for the RNC and worked in the NYS Assembly. Since moving, Jake has begun a career in sales. In his free time, he enjoys pickleball and the beach. Jake and his fiancé, Kristen, a teacher, live in Fort Myers with their puppy, Leo. Jake is excited to be serving as Secretary of the CLC!

Andi Hourican

Director

Andi and her husband, Phil, are originally from Pittsburgh, PA, but have enjoyed being residents of the Sunshine State since 2015. They have been active participants in the Lee County Republican Party, volunteering for campaign activities, voter registration, office duty, events, poll working, and poll watching. Andi looks forward to being a part of this new group dedicated to furthering the goals and values of true Conservatism.

Cindy Holliday

Director

Cindy Holliday is a 38 year Florida resident, fleeing the cold blue state of Illinois. Cindy was a field organizer in the 2020 and 2022 campaigns in SWFL and she currently helps with voter registration events. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her grandson. She also enjoys playing golf, bocce ball, bowling, and hitting the gym.

Brian Wright

Director

Brian moved to Florida in October 1999, from his native state of Kentucky. He has been active supporting constitutional conservative candidates for his entire adult life. This involvement is not only financial as Brian has served a chairman of several campaigns, walked door to door for many candidate and made thousands of calls. Brian owns and leads a company based in Lee County. Brian’s other activities are serving as a Tour Manager for a WW II Historical Tour Company and getting as many rounds of golf in as possible each month. The father of two adult children, he is very proud that both his daughter Haley and son Cole are even more Christian and Conservative than he is....if that is possible!

Charles Moore

Membership

Charles Moore has been a resident of Cape Coral for 8 years. He serves as Membership Chair of the Lee County Trump Republican Club, Director of the Cape Coral Republican Club and Secretary of BUPAC (Business People United for Political Action). He volunteers as a Lee County Elections Poll Worker to help ensure voting integrity. He also volunteers with the Cape Coral Fire Department to deliver medical supplies to fire stations. His aim is to work to help take our country back.

Jean Sharpe

Campaigns

Jean Sharpe has lived in Iowa, Minnesota, New York, and Alabama; but has proudly settled right here in SWFL. Jean was her High School's valedictorian and has achieved a BA, Summa cum laude, and an MA in Public Administration. By profession, she has been in Iowa farming, education administration, owned a souvenir store, sold real estate, and has held many more interesting careers. She has also traveled to India and Nepal 3 times to run missions and share presentations. Jean has four grown children who live in Iowa, Minnesota, Connecticut, and Saskatchewan. Fun fact: Jean has been to 48 states and is a published children’s book author!

Jeff McQuade

Sergeant-at-arms

Jeff and his wife, Anne have been residents of Fort Myers for 6 years. They are transplants from Wisconsin where Jeff enlisted in the U.S Marine Corp at 18 and proudly served in Vietnam. Over the years, they have been very active in Veterans Organizations. Upon meeting Doris and Wally Cortese shortly after arriving in Fort Myers, they became politically involved, and the rest is history.
